What are Your Rights as a Data Subject?

Data subjects are entitled to;

  • Learn whether their personal data were processed or not;
  • If their personal data were processed, to request information;
  • Learn the purpose of processing of personal data and whether they were used for such purpose or not;
  • Know the third persons in or abroad, to whom the personal data were transferred;
  • If personal data were processed inaccurately or insufficiently, request them to be corrected and request any such action to be notified to the third persons, to whom the personal data were transferred;
  • Despite of being processed in compliance with PPD Law and provisions of other applicable laws, if the reasons for processing the personal data are no longer available, request them to be deleted or destroyed and request the third persons, to whom the personal data were transferred, are notified about such actions;
  • Object to any result in against of themselves through analyzing the personal data exclusively by automatic systems; and
  • Claim compensation of their damages if they suffer any damage due to illegal processing of personal data according to Article 11 of PPD Law.

You can submit your requests to exercise your rights listed above to our company in written or through other methods to be determined by the Board of Protection of Personal Data in accordance with Article 13/1 of PPD Law.

Any such application shall be made to our Company “in written” by printing out the application form;

  • By personal application of the Applicant;
  • Through a Public Notary; or
  • By sending an e-mail of Applicant to kvkk@remed.com.tr. Your applications that we have received will be answered within thirty days starting from the receipt of your request, based on the type of request as per the provisions of paragraph 2 of Article 13 of PPD Law. Our answers will be submitted to you in written or through electronic means as per the provisions of Article 13 of PPD Law.
